Cookie Notice
How MakeGig uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
Effective October 29, 20261. Scope
This notice explains how MakeGig uses cookies, browser storage, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies on makegig.com and related services. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. Technologies we use
Strictly necessary technologies support sign-in, authentication, security, account preferences, load balancing, and other functions required for the Service to work. Supabase authentication may place or read these technologies when you create an account or sign in.
Analytics and performance technologies help us understand page visits, navigation, feature use, errors, crashes, and performance. PostHog may use cookies or local storage to recognize a browser, associate events within a session, and provide session replay.
Local storage may remember interface choices, analytics opt-out state, and other settings on the device. Unlike a cookie, local storage usually remains in the browser until the Service or the user removes it.
3. Session replay
Session replay recreates how a visitor interacts with the Service, such as navigation, clicks, scrolling, and interface state, so we can diagnose problems and improve usability. It is not intended to capture passwords or private message content. We use masking and exclusion controls where supported, but no automated control is perfect. Do not enter sensitive information into fields that do not ask for it.
4. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies and local storage using your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent sign-in or account features from working. Browser privacy controls may also restrict analytics. MakeGig does not currently use third-party advertising cookies or sell information collected through cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You may contact contact@makegig.com with a question or privacy request.
5. Changes
We may update this notice when our technology or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
